Coming from a background in trading stocks, derivatives and options, John transitioned into crypto 9 years ago as an early Bitcoin investor. He now spends far too much time hunting down early stage crypto investments.
After running an international marketing and consulting firm for many years, Lord ventured into the blockchain industry and has successfully spear-headed over 20 significant strategic partnerships between blockchain projects.
Austin has an educational background in mathematics and physics. He has recently transitioned into full time crypto and spends his time working and negotiating with CEOs to secure private and seed sale allocations for 316VC. He has grown increasingly excited about the emerging gamefi, metaverse, and cardano ecosystems. He truly looks forward to watching blockchain and cryptocurrency play out over the next few years and is excited to be a part of it.
Mary has a non traditional background as a Clinical Director for the Urgent Care Division of 4 Large Hospitals in the UK. Coming from a senior leadership background and with a long standing interest & experience in investments in early blockchain start ups, to 316vc, she brings the necessary skills for business development and facilitating operations.
With almost two decades working within the investment banking sector delivering cross asset business transformation programmes, Shipon brings a breadth of experience from within Finance. He has worked with some of the top financial organisations in the world including Investec (South Africa), MUTB (Japan), RBS/HSBC (UK) and Swedbank (Sweden).
With over three decades of corporate legal practice experience about 25 of which are in ICT including about 12 Years at Vodacom, former Exec. Head of Legal and Regulatory Services, Dr. Newton at her positions, supervises the evolution and management of commercial and network contracts, disputes and litigation management, and general legal and corporate governance management.
